The Ascensiona-managed cloud foundation is designed so infrastructure capacity can be expanded as business requirements change. We do not promise unlimited or instant scaling; we manage the underlying environment and make infrastructure changes deliberately when they are needed.

Backups matter because recovery matters

A backup is useful only when it contributes to a workable recovery plan. Ascensiona treats recovery as part of the managed service rather than something to think about only after a problem appears. Backups reduce risk, but they do not guarantee that every historic version or individual item can always be restored.

Why Ascensiona keeps infrastructure access managed

Clients buy a managed outcome, not unmanaged server space. Ascensiona keeps server, hosting and technical administration under controlled management so responsibility does not become blurred across multiple people making infrastructure-level changes.

Server, hosting-panel, database, SFTP, SSH and root-level credentials are not supplied as part of the managed service. WordPress user access can be provided separately where appropriate.

You retain control of your business, website content, brand and commercial decisions. We retain operational control of the managed infrastructure required to deliver the agreed service.

When something goes wrong, the problem has an owner

Ascensiona investigates the website and hosting environment, works through the likely cause and uses the safest practical recovery route. That can mean correcting the issue directly or restoring from a known recovery point when that is the better option.

Reasonable protection, not impossible promises

Layered security and managed operations reduce risk, but no hosting environment can be guaranteed immune from every incident or continuously available in every circumstance. Any specific service-level commitment applies only where it is expressly included in an accepted SLA or commercial agreement.

Infrastructure is where accountability starts
