Moving a business website should be a controlled transition, not a leap into the unknown.
A WordPress migration starts with understanding what already works
Ascensiona can move suitable existing WordPress websites into our managed hosting environment. Before changing live traffic, we review the current site, identify dependencies or existing problems and prepare the destination around what the business actually needs.
What we check before a migration
- The current WordPress website and hosting setup
- Domain and DNS requirements
- Important forms and customer journeys
- Plugins, themes and obvious dependencies
- Current SSL and secure HTTPS
- Backup availability before changes begin
- Known website, hosting or performance problems
Protect the working site before changing production
We prepare the managed environment, copy the website, check important pages and functions, establish a recovery point and coordinate the final changeover. The exact process depends on the current provider and website, but the principle does not change: understand and protect the existing site before replacing its live environment.

A migration does not automatically mean a redesign
If the current website is doing its job, moving hosting and redesigning it are separate decisions. We can focus on a controlled migration without inventing a website project the business does not need.
If the review shows that the site would genuinely benefit from wider work, we can discuss that separately and make the scope clear.
Existing problems do not disappear just because the host changes
If we find issues in the current site, we will tell you. Some can sensibly be handled during the move; others may need separate work before or after migration. That prevents an old problem quietly becoming the baseline of the new managed environment.

Migration can be the beginning of a simpler digital relationship
Once the website sits within the Ascensiona managed foundation, ongoing website care and other agreed digital work can be coordinated by the same partner. You can stop at managed hosting if that is all you need, or expand the relationship later without starting again with somebody who has never seen the environment before.

Send us the website address and tell us what is frustrating you. We can review the situation and explain what a sensible managed move would involve.
